The Constitution was written in 1988 prior to forming of the Club. The Club has ever since been organised and operated under the guidelines of the Constitution.

1. The Club shall be known as “The Old Stone Sea Angling Club”

2. The aim of the Club is to encourage angling as a sport, promoting  friendship, environmental awareness and responsibility.

3. The Club shall be non sectarian and non political.

4. The Club shall be non profit making.

5. The Committee shall be elected at an AGM which will take place at the end of each Club year; the elected Committee shall hold the post for one year.

6. The Club shall be organised and run by a Committee of no less than 5 members.

7. Any member may call an EGM provided he/she has the signed backing of eight members, or one third of the total membership, whichever is the greater.

8. All annual membership subscriptions must be paid by the date as agreed by the Committee, any person not paid up by the agreed date will not be eligible to win any points, prizes or trophies presented by the Club.

9. Club financial accounts shall be audited annually and made available to each member prior to or at the AGM.

10. The Club will operate a limited membership at the discretion of the Committee.

11. All competitions shall be held within the guidelines and rules of the NFSA, to which the Club will be affiliated. The committee reserve the right to amend such rules as deemed appropriate and reasonable.

12. Any questions arising which are not covered by the aforementioned rules shall be dealt with by the Committee whose decision shall be final.

13. The Club or Committee can be in no way held responsible for any loss, damage, accident or injury to any member or their property while engaged in any event organised by the Club.

14. The Committee will organise all prizes and trophies in accordance to the financial state of the Club.
